The Institute of Management & Information Technology (IMIT) is the Training Institute based under CATS Tanzania Limited. Established in 1987, and formerly known as the ICL Training Center, its principal aim consists of rendering training services in areas of Business Management and Information Technology.IMIT, a division of CATS Tanzania Ltd, was the first vocational training institute in Tanzania offering computer courses. The primary objective of the Institute is to promote IT in the country by offering quality training to everyday users as well as to students aspiring to become IT professionals. Extensive computing resources, qualified and well-trained instructors, a conducive learning environment, and constant updating and upgrading of instructor skills ensures that quality training is imparted to every student every time. It is among the many pioneering efforts of the CATS Group to provide Total Information Technology and Systems Solutions and Services in Tanzania. The Institute deals with all aspects of training within the scope of Computer Information Systems including its Management. It offers short term as well as long term courses.IMIT has 5 well equipped training centers with up to 50 state of the art PC's with all centers fully networked. It also has a Testing Center (Prometric Authorized) allowing candidates to sit for any International Certification Exams and get instant score reports.OUR VISIONEvery Company realizes the need for change in order to succeed in business.
